Unfortunately the adult fleas living in your house and garden only represent 5% of the flea population. The rest are found as eggs, larvae and pupae. That’s why simply treating your pets is not going to provide an effective long-term solution.

How to control fleas and flea eggs

There are several measures you can take to help control both fleas around the house and fleas in the garden. You can try flooding your yard with water or spraying it with insecticides, and you can regularly vacuum the carpets in your house.

However, if you have a long-term flea problem, you really need to flea control professionals to sort it out for you.
