- Lines of ants is another sign to look out for. The ants enter your home from their nest outside, then leave a scent to the food source, which the other ants then follow.
How do I get rid of ants?
When you have an ant problem, you want to get rid of them as soon as possible! A few preventative measures are:
- Keep all food sealed. Keep pantry food in airtight containers and keep everything else in the fridge.
- Clean up all food and liquid spills.
- Empty your kitchen rubbish bin daily.
- Seal access points such as the gaps underneath doors and cracks in the windows.
However, if you already have an ant problem, you will need to invest in a more serious form of ant pest control. Unfortunately DIY ant bait isn’t always effective, so your best bet is always to call in the pest control experts.
